Intro to Intro

"...I thought of my old Hungarian grandfather... Whenever I would tell him that I was afraid to take a risk, he would lovingly encourage me by repeating his favorite English expression: 'Vat the hell,' he would say, 'vat the hell.'"
~Brian L. Weiss, M.D. Many Lives, Many Masters

For my inquiry project, I am researching past-life regression. Most of what I am inquiring about is how our past lives affect the current lives we are living. In Brian L. Weiss' first book on the subject, he wrote of his first experience with past-life regression, which he stumbled upon by accident. A past-life regression is a state of deep hypnosis in which your spirit mind (as renowned psychic Sylvia Browne calls it) is able to take over your conscious mind. With the right guidence, your spirit mind can recall all the memories it has ever had, especially past-life memories, with perfect clarity. This technique of hypnotherapy often helps people recover from lifelong phobias or conditions. Of course, it can't cure many physical illnesses, but it can, for example, eliminate some chronic pains.
